YOUR MOST ASKED QUESTIONS
We asked Indigo your most frequently asked questions on Instagram about the making and release of her new album Sweet Thunder and Scream Drive Faster music video.

You released your debut album 'Undertones' over two years ago now. How did you find that sudden popularity and have you come to terms with it now?
To be honest it was really overwhelming at first and I found the pressure a lot to handle. However the opportunities and experiences that I have in the last two years are something that I will never take for granted! Being able to share my music with such an amazing group of fans is everything that I have wanted.
Of course everyone has loved listening to your new hit single 'Scream Drive Faster'. What were your inspirations behind this song?
Scream Drive Faster is all lyrically about my experience moving away and finding new happiness. I have been through lots of major changes in my life recently and wanted to put my thoughts into a song. Musically, I really wanted a more 1980s feel to this song, and I really love how synth-heavy it turned out. When it came to making the music video, it was really important to us to reflect both these lyrical and musical elements visually.
"If you didn't become a musician, where do you think you would be now?"
Hmmm, I'm not sure to be honest. I have always known that music is my passion and so I always knew that I would end up using that passion for my career. I think that I would definitely be doing something creative.
"Do you think as a music artist you could improve in any way? And if yes, how would you achieve this?"
Of course! There are always ways to improve. Personally, I want to improve on my performance quality, as I feel nerves always weaken my performance!
"What is your day-to-day life like before the release of Sweet Thunder?"
Before the release I would wake up and head straight over to the studio ready to start recording or shooting at 9am. We write or record or shoot until about 12am, and then I go to the nearby coffee shop for lunch with the team. We head back to the studio after this and record for a couple more hours, and then create content for my social media accounts. Then I spend the evening to relax or go out with friends!
"If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?"
I would like to say thank you all for supporting my music this past year, and I hope you enjoy our new album!
